Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, share, and protect personal information (including candidate data) when you use this website or work with us.

Who we are

Iqonic Global Technologies LLC ("Iqonic Global", "we", "us") is a staffing, consulting, and product engineering firm registered in the United States, with offices at 447 Broadway, 2nd Floor Suite 3516, New York, NY 10013, USA. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. Questions, or requests about your data, go to info@iqonicglobal.com.

Information we collect

We collect information in three ways: information you give us directly, information we receive from others, and information collected automatically when you use this site.

  • Information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, company, and the content of any message when you use the contact form; and, if you apply for a role, your résumé, work history, education, skills, work authorization status, salary expectations, and any other details you choose to share.
  • Information from others: references you nominate, publicly available professional profiles, and feedback from a client after an interview you attended through us.
  • Information collected automatically: IP address, browser type and version, device type, pages viewed, referring page, and approximate location derived from IP. See our Cookie Policy for the specifics.
  • Account information: if you hold a login for one of our dashboards, we store your email address and an authentication session token.

How we use information

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you asked for.
  • To assess your suitability for a role, prepare you for interviews, and submit you to a client, always with your knowledge.
  • To operate, secure, and improve this website, including rate limiting and abuse prevention.
  • To send you role alerts or updates you have asked to receive. You can stop these at any time.
  • To meet our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations, and to establish or defend legal claims.

Legal bases for processing

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent (for marketing emails and for submitting your profile to a specific client); performance of a contract (to deliver services you have engaged us for); our legitimate interests (to run and secure our business, and to match candidates to relevant roles, balanced against your rights); and legal obligation (record-keeping and compliance).

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

  • With clients: your profile is shared with a prospective employer only after you have agreed to be submitted to that specific role.
  • With service providers: hosting, email delivery, analytics, and applicant-tracking providers who process data on our instructions and under contract.
  • For legal reasons: where required by law, court order, or a lawful request from a public authority, or to protect the rights and safety of people or the firm.
  • In a business transfer: if the firm is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different policy.

How long we keep it

Contact-form enquiries are kept for 24 months from last contact. Candidate records are kept for 24 months from your last interaction with us, so we can tell you about relevant roles, and then deleted or anonymised, unless you ask us to remove them sooner, which you can do at any time. Records we must retain for tax, accounting, or legal reasons are kept for as long as the relevant law requires.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of your personal information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Californian residents additionally have the right to know what we collect, to request deletion or correction, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To exercise any of these, email info@iqonicglobal.com. We will respond within the period the applicable law requires, and within 30 days wherever we can. We will not charge you for a reasonable request, and we may need to verify your identity first.

International transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process data there. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, transfers of your information out of your region are made under an appropriate safeguard (usually the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses) and we take reasonable steps to ensure your data is afforded an equivalent level of protection.

Security

We use TLS in transit, access controls, and the principle of least privilege for internal access to candidate and client data. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If a breach affects your personal information and creates a risk to you, we will notify you and the relevant regulator as required by law.

Children

This site and our services are intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law changes. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and we will give prominent notice of any material change. Questions about any of it: info@iqonicglobal.com.
